Izzy played 66 tests for the All Blacks, including a Rugby World Cup win, and has since built a career in broadcasting and business. Teilah is a Hurricanes Poua and Hawke’s Bay Tui player turned entrepreneur, now focused on growing Napier Sauna Project. Hastings City Business Association is proud to bring former World Cup-winning All Black and Hawke’s Bay rugby favourite Israel Dagg to The Profit Unleashed.
One of New Zealand rugby’s most exciting outside backs, Izzy played 66 Tests for the All Blacks and was part of the 2011 Rugby World Cup-winning squad.
From his early days playing for Hawke’s Bay to rugby’s biggest stage, Izzy will share stories from his career, life after professional sport, business, broadcasting and the lessons he has picked up along the way.
Teilah Ferguson (Ngāti Kahungunu) grew up in Napier and built a career good enough to play Super Rugby Aupiki for the Hurricanes Poua and Farah Palmer Cup rugby for Hawke’s Bay Tui.
Last year a freak accident on the field cost her the sight in one eye and ended her playing days overnight. Rather than let that define her, Teilah’s poured her energy into growing Napier Sauna Project, which she co-owns, and continuing her work with Hawke’s Bay Rugby.
Her story isn’t about the setback. It’s about backing yourself, turning adversity into opportunity, and building something bigger than yourself.
