Damon is the editor and publisher of The Profit. Damon has been a journalist for over 25 years. As well as publishing The Profit, he’s a PR and marketing director of www.attn.co.nzÂ
Damon and wife Anna Lorck spotted a gap in the market for a positive local business publication – telling the stories of local business leaders and successful businesses.
Damon’s also on the Hastings District Council, chair of Sport Hawke’s Bay and an adviser to the Paora Winitana & Paul Henare Basketball Academy
Kem Ormond

Simon Hendery
Simon is a freelance writer and marketer from Napier. He grew up in Hawke’s Bay and has previously worked as a reporter for Hawke’s Bay Today and the Dominion Post. He’s also at the NZ Herald as a specialist business and technology writer. Simon has a passion for business, technology and politics, and particularly enjoys researching and writing stories about innovative local businesses taking on the world from sunny Hawke’s Bay.

Anna Lorck is a true champion and campaigner for both Hawke’s Bay businesses and the community. She brings 25 years experience in media, business and politics. Anna is an elected member of the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board, she served 7 years on the Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce, she sits on the Hawke’s Bay Primary Sector Awards advisory, she is a Hawke’s Bay business owner and is a Graduate of the Kelloggs Rural Leadership Programme.
